My
name is Lesli Paterson, right now I live in Oregon, I have 2 kids a 4
year old buy and a 2 year old.

Bake some bread….. you can always wait a couple days till your period is over and go see a Dr. as for a home remedy, you should really go out and buy some more monistat, not the one day, cause that apperently didnt work, but a 7 day, this should help clear it up, but your gonna have to deal with it throughout your period
yes over dose on yogurt–eat as much as you can stand–it usually cures me within a day or two
yogurt the plain kind or put vinagar on it but vinagar burns!!!!
Maybe try the kind that you use longer, the cream kind, if they sell that over the counter.
Eating yogurt is recommended but you should eat the kind that says it has live cultures.
You need yogurt. The live culture in plain yogurt is a great remedy for a yeast infection, helping to restore the acid-bacteria balance in more ways than one. Of course, you can eat yogurt. But you can also insert 1 to 2 tablespoons into your vagina, apply it externally to the affected area (anal or vaginal), or use it as a douche by diluting it with warm water.
Or try:
Heating thyme tea. Make a thyme tea using 1 teaspoon dried thyme per 1 cup boiling water. Steep and drink 1 to 4 cups per day if you have a yeast infection.
Contrary to what that other person said, DO NOT USE VINEGAR on your vagina.
Go to the drugstore and by yourself a Vagistat kit. They are only about twelve dollars and they work.
:::edit:::
Someone below mentioned drinking cranberry juice. This only works for urinary tract infections (interferes with fimbriae attachments). This will not help you out with a yeast infection
hi im memo
That happens with so many of the one day treatments. Try a three day treatment and if it does not get better go see the doctor you might need a prescription.
Plain yogurt.
Its is best to cure you infection naturally because many other cures can be dangerous.
Check out Linda Allen system for curing and preventing yeast infections naturally. ( http://tinyurl.com/thecureforyeastinfections )
She has done extensive research and will provide you with the info you need to cure you problem.
Eat lots of yogurt. (Plain not flavored) also, if you’re on any type of medication, you may want to speak to your doc. about changing dosages. Antibiotics, and other meds can increase your changes of getting a yeast infection due to their fighting off bacteria.
drink cranberry juice, but you really need a canestan pesary & cream. from chemist (pesary is the best) get well soon
Hi,
Before checking out the best vaginal yeast infection remedy, you should try to find out what causes the infection and how women catch such infection.
In general the root cause of yeast infection is the overgrowth of the candida fungus, which is present in warm & moist areas of our body (e.g. vagina and mouth). Imbalance in your body system could encourage the rapid growth of these fungus resulting to yeast infection. Such yeast infection is usually highly contagious and you can also get it from a partner carrying candida infection.
In my opnion, you need to seek medical help for correct diagnosis and advice on the best vaginal yeast infection remedy that will work for you.
Alternatively, for a drug-free natural cure for yeast infection (i.e.home remedy), you can try one of the natural health resources given in this website: http://www.healtholic.com/nut-allergies/index.php
Good luck to you and please take care…

If it keeps coming back you need to get to the doctor for a prescription treatment. Otherwise your just going to keep on using home remedy’s, and it will keep returning.
yogurt and cranberry juice! Seriously try cranberry juice, it works really well…
Eat lots of yogurt. It puts back the good bacteria that your body has to have to fight off the bad bacteria. Also, use the cream for external itching while you take the one, three or seven day treatment.
Gurl yeast will run you up a wall do this please go to the doctor let them give you the one day pill they have and some cream this is not the thing you want to keep around to long two weeks is long enough gurl good luck.
Itching is horrible… yuck! Tea Tree oil is the most powerful anti-fungal remedy that I can think of that could be applied directly to the skin.
However… don’t use it straight, it will burn. Take some oil such as olive oil, or any kind of cooking oil, almond oil, etc. and put about 1 drop of Tea Tree oil to a table spoon of cooking or other oil.
Apply it to the infected area and see how that does. Try to make the solution as strong as you can handle.
I have never understood why people eat yogurt thinking the small amount of live cultures that’s in there, if any at all after being processed, would help with yeast.
Go to a health food store and purchase a bottle of probiotics. Other wise known as acidophilus. That is the real stuff. Take as directed.
You may think you have a yeast infection, but only a doctor can tell you for sure. Symptoms of a yeast infection are also symptoms of other things, such as STD’s and other things. Treating yourself for a yeast infection when you actually have another type of infection could make the problem much worse. My gyno wishes they would take self treatments off the market, due to the numerous cases a patient actually had a sexually transmitted disease. And another thing, yeast infections frequently accompany STD’s, so you should NEVER treat a yeast infection yourself. You tried and it failed, now get yourself to a doctor.
yogurt with live cultures, and monistat 7 days worth also wash yourself with water and 1 tls of baking soda 3 x daily
Tea Tree Oil
The essential oil tea tree oil, diluted and applied topically to the vaginal area, has shown some potential as a natural home remedy for yeast infection. A compound called terpinen-4-ol in tea tree oil appears to be responsible.
Unfortunately, there haven’t been any clinical studies in humans showing that tea tree oil is effective or safe for yeast infection. Until we have more evidence, it should not be recommended. Tea tree oil must be diluted before applying it to the body. Full strength tea tree oil should never be applied to the vaginal area.
Tea Tree Oil Fact Sheet
vagisil!
and lots of yogurt
Vaginitis (inflammation of the mucous membranes lining the vagina) can be caused by a fungal infection (yeast) but may also be a bacterial infection, in which case Monistat will be ineffective.
Some of the causes of vaginitis (in addition to fungal or bacterial infection) may be vitamin B deficiency, irritation from excessive douching or the use of products such as deodorant sprays. Poor hygiene and tight, nonporous clothing can contribute to the problem.
All that said, you may want to have a doctor take a look to assess for bacterial causes and treat with antibiotics. Or you can try some home remedies such as aloe vera. Aloe is very soothing and healing to the mucous membranes. It can be applied topically to relieve itching, and/or it can be used as a douche to cleanse the vagina and to promote healing.
Anytime you are dealing with a fungal infection it’s a good idea to make some adjustments to the diet so you don’t inadvertently feed the fungus. That means eliminating fruits, sugar, and yeast products. Avoid aged cheeses, alcohol, chocolate, dried fruits, fermented foods, all grains containing gluten (wheat, oats, rye, and barley), ham, honey, nut butters, pickles, mushrooms, soy sauce, and vinegar…until you are healed.
Keep clean and dry. Wear cotton underwear, which absorbs moisture and allows air to circulate. Avoid tight clothing and synthetic fabrics. Do not spend prolonged periods of time in a wet bathing suit.
In addition to using aloe as a douche, you can do a mild apple cider vinegar and water douche as well. [Best to use an organic apple cider vinegar (ACV).] Use 2 tablespoons ACV in one quart warm water. You can treat up to twice daily. ACV restores the pH to the vagina, helps to kill off harmful microbes (fungal and bacterial) and sooths and heals the membrane in the vagina.
2 weeks is way too long for any type of infection, even yeast! if you’ve already tried over the counter then its time to call the doctor and a., make sure its still yeast and not bacterial vaginitis (BV) which has some of the same symptoms as yeast and b., go ahead and get Diflucan (a little pink pill you take my mouth with or without food). If you get the Diflucan you shld feel refief within the day (although if you have a raging yeast infection, you may have to ake another tablet in a couple days, so a total of 2 but spread out). Cut back on your sugar intake and do eat yougurt (with live cultures) and lots of water so you’re vajay-jays can come back into balance naturally! (But seriously after 2 weeks get to the Dr Asap for some relief!)
