So…interesting problem. I had sinusitis, so my doc prescribed antibiotics. I ended up with a yeast infection (surprise, surprise), so I bought the over-the-counter insert cream. (Fun stuff.)

Well, my cough has not gone away. So, every time I cough, it causes the inserted cream to…well…un-insert itself. I know I can go to doc and get a prescription, but I would rather not pay the extra money (furnace just broke and cost $900 to fix, so money is tight). I am on day 3 of the OTC stuff, but it doesn’t seem to be working that great since I can’t keep it in me.

Any suggestions?

P.S. As I’ve stated, I know I can go to the doctor. That is my last resort. So, obviously I will not choose an answer as “best answer” if their solution is to go to the doc.

I recently suffered from a severe yeast infection + a skin infection down there…it’s pretty much cleared up, but I’m left with labial adhesion now. I don’t really have any symptoms due to it, but I want the estrogen cream to break the skin down. Would my Dr be able to prescribe me it even though I’m past puberty?

i got a yeast infection from wearing the NuvaRing and had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. i was feeling a lot of pain and itching so the next morning i went to my doctor and she gave me a pill called Fluconazole 150mg tablet and a cream called Nystain 100,000 unit/gm cream. My question is if in fact my bf did get a yeast infection from me can he use these same products or is there another male version that ud have to purchase?
