How do I get rid of a yeast infection?
I’m not feeling so fresh down in my lady business.
Not DIRTY, I do bathe myself.
However, I’m starting to notice a pungent odor that hasn’t always been there, and I’m feeling very itchy and uncomfortable.

put honey in it.
if you’ve never had one before, see your gynecologist. they can prescribe diflucan for you, one pill and it’s all gone.
you can get monistat or vagisil at the drugstore, wal-mart, target, etc. pick out which formula you want.
wash your undies 2x before wearing in order to kill the yeast spores.
cut down on sweets and starchy food (carbs) for a little while.
It could be a yeast infection, but it sounds like something else to me. If its your first one, you need to see a doctor to make sure that’s what you have and to see how to detect it in the future.
To me, it sounds like BV (Bacterial Vaginitis). If it is, the smell would be even more pungent after sex, and you’d definitely notice it then. If you’ve had sex lately, and noticed it then I would bet that’s what you got.
You need to go to a doctors and get the medicine for it. There is no other way to get rid of it without a perscription. Don’t try the yogurt or vinegar treatments cause those are for yeast infections, not BV and they don’t always work.
Go to the docs. You’ll be fine in a week or so after doing the meds. And don’t feel bad – it happens to most of us women.
Good luck
See your OB/GYN, you need a prescription.
Make sure you urinate after having sex.
A lot of the medications stop the symptoms but they don’t always get rid of the infection. That means that the bacteria is still there ready to flare up when they have a suitable environment to grow. Here’s some information on natural remedies …
Good luck
