I went into the doctor years ago complaining about severe vaginal itching. After the visit, I was prescribed some medication. I was relieved, thinking that this problem would be behind me. What I found out later is that yeast infections can be a difficult thing to cure, yeast infections can come back again and again. I have first hand knowledge of this because that is exactly what happened. It seemed like every 3-4 months I was going into the doctor for another treatment.
